Samsung is going for the European video broadcast market this year, as they will present their recent SGH-P900 DMega Bytes (MB) (Digital Media Broadcast) phone at the 3Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) World Congress.

The recent device is based on Korean DMega Bytes (MB) technology that has been adapted for the European broadcast standards. The clamshell supports EPG (Electronic Program Guide) for user convenience in loading and searching a DMega Bytes (MB) program. The thing about this phone is the landscape mode of the display. The Samsung P900 can record broadcasts for later watching and also has TV-out port for exporting the image to a television set. The supplemented 100 Mega Bytes (MB) internal memory can be assisted by a memory card using the microSD slot.

The Samsung P900 DMega Bytes (MB) phone is scheduled for shipping in Q2 2006
