Today Samsung announced that its recent Bada flagship, the S8600 Wave 3 is hitting the shelves around the world. The smartphone, which was announced at the discontinue of August is making its market debut just in time for the holiday shopping spree.

Samsung didn't quote the price of the Wave 3, but a quick search around online shops did the trick. The Samsung S8600 Wave 3 is currently going for about €280 after taxes in Europe, which seems like quite a decent bargain considering the package you are getting.

The Samsung S8600 Wave 3 is built around a 4" Super AMOrganic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) of WVideo Graphics Array (VGA) resolution and runs Bada Operating System (OS) 2.0 on a 1.4Giga Hertz (GHz) Scorpion processor. A 5-megapixels auto-focus capturing camera with Light Emitting Diode (LED) flash and 720p video recording @30fps should cater for your photography needs, while a Video Graphics Array (VGA) front-facing snapper enables video-chatting.

If you are still unsure if the Wave 3 is a fine match for you, you are welcome to check out our preview on the smartphone. And stay tuned for the full review, which is already in the works.
