According to a recent report, Hewlett Packard (HP) has plans to reenter the smartphone market. The electronics giant allegedly has plans to release large-classy screen Android smartphones by the discontinue of the year.

The six and seven inch devices are assumed to be headed to emerging markets such as India, China, the Philippines, etc. Their off contract pricing will reportedly range between $200 and $250.

The recent rumor about the return of Hewlett Packard (HP) to the smartphone market matches with past reports. The company’s CEO Meg Whitman has also indicated to media that Hewlett Packard (HP) will ultimately release a smartphone.

The low-cost orientation of the rumored devices also falls correct in line with the company’s budget-friendly Android tablet range. Earlier this month, Hewlett Packard (HP) launched a quartet of affordable Android slates.
