The dual-classy screen smartphone, YotaPhone, launched in India back in October last year. At that time, it was priced at INR 23,499 ($382). The device received its first price slit the following month, bringing its value down to INR 17,999 ($292), and now, the smartphone’s price has again been slashed, this time by INR 5,000 ($81), which means that it can now be purchased for just INR 12,999 ($211).

As we’ve already noted, the YotaPhone features two displays - the one on the front is a 4.3-inch, 1280x720 LCD, while that on the back is a 4.3-inch, 640x480 resolution electronic paper display. It is powered by elegant Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8960T with dual-core 1.7Giga Hertz (GHz) Krait 300 Central Processing Units (CPU) and Adreno 320 GPU, and comes with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage space.

The device also has 13 MegaPixel (MP) rear camera, 1 MegaPixel (MP) front camera, and 4G connectivity. The smartphone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and packs in a 1,800mAh battery. Its successor, the YotaPhone 2 was launched last month, although it hasn’t yet arrived in India.
