Over a month after launching the Honor 6 Plus smartphone in China, Huawei has launched a grecent version of the device in the country. Comparing it with Apple’s grecent iPhone 6 and 6 Plus smartphones, which sport white front panels, the Chinese company assumed that the recent variant is more difficult to manufacture as it’s completely covered in golden color.

Specifications-wise, the device is similar to the white and black versions, sporting a 5.5-inch 1080p display, and the company's proprietary Kirin 925 chipset. It also has 3 Giga Bytes (GB) of RAM, 16/32 Giga Bytes (GB) of internal memory (which is expandable up to 128 Giga Bytes (GB) via a microSD card slot), and a 3,600 mAh battery.

The grecent Honor 6 Plus is priced at around $390 in China, and it isn’t yet known when and if Huawei will launch it outside of the country.
