Lava Unveils Xolo Win Q1000, A 5-inch Windows Phone 8.1 Device

Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava has updated its Xolo line of devices with a recent Windows Phone smartphone. Dubbed Win Q1000, the device will retail for INR 8,499 ($137), although its availability isn't yet known.

The smartphone is powered by a elegant Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC with a 1.2 Giga Hertz (GHz) quad-core processor and Adreno 302 GPU, and sports a 5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1280 resolution and 294 PPI pixel density.

It comes with 1GB of Random-Access Memory (RAM) and 8GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32 Giga Bytes (GB) via a microSD card), and dual-SIM support. In terms of camera, it features an 8 MegaPixel (MP) rear unit and a 2 MegaPixel (MP) front shooter. Measuring 143 x 71.3 x 8.8 mm, the Xolo Win Q1000 packs in a 2200 mAh battery, and will come pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8.1.
