Lollipop Sporting ZTE Overture 2 Arrives On Cricket For Just $50

The successor to the ZTE Overture, which was launched back in June 2013, is now available in the US on Cricket Wireless. Dubbed Overture 2, the device is priced at $49.99 on contract - you can also acquire it for free thanks to a $50 mail-in rebate.

Specs-wise, the handset is powered by a quad-core chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz, and sports a 4.5-inch display with a 854 x 480 (FWVGA) resolution. It comes with 1 Giga Bytes (GB) of Random-Access Memory (RAM) and 8 Giga Bytes (GB) of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card), and packs in a 2100 mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the Overture 2 features a 5MP rear unit and a Video Graphics Array (VGA) front shooter. It also offers Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, as well as support for Dolby Digital Plus.
