Huawei issued a press-release today about a recent slate - the Huawei T1 10. It's not exactly recent though, Huawei decided to re-brand its tablet lineup and the previously announced as MediaPad T1 10 slate will be now selling as just T1 10.

The Huawei T1 10 packs a 9.6" IPS HD classy screen and runs on the Snapdragon 410 chip with a quad-core 1.2Giga Hertz (GHz) Cortex-A53 CPU, Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The rest of the specs include a 5MP rear cam with Light Emitting Diode (LED) flash, a 2MP front snapper, LTE connectivity and Android KitKat with Emotion launcher.

The slate employs an aluminum unibody design and is just 8.3mm thick. It is powered by a beefy 4,800 mAh battery, which should last for 24 days on standby, 12 hours on video playback, or 6.5 hours of web browsing.

O2 UK will be offering the white Huawei T1 10, if not already, on pay monthly plans starting at £22.50 (tariff + slate payment) plus £22.99 upfront. We guess other carriers in Europe should be offering similar deals soon as well.
