Samsung Galaxy J2 has popped in various rumors throughout the last few months, but just few days ago we learned some units was shipped in India for testing purposes. This was an obvious sign Samsung is very close to launching the Galaxy J2 officially.

Today we got an even better evidence the Galaxy J2 is indeed now in testing. The smartphone popped in the GeekBench results database. According to its recorded data, the J2 packs a quad-core 1.2Giga Hertz (GHz) 32-bit processor (probably Cortex-A7), 1GB of Random-Access Memory (RAM) and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

From the previous leak we know the Galaxy J2 display should be a 4.7" qHD unit, a small bump over the Galaxy J1.

We expect the device to go official very soon. It should be launched in India, and probably China, before other markets.
