Most of the major carriers in the US, including Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T, had announced back in August that they will support Samsung Pay at launch. Notably missing from that list was Verizon, which at that time assumed that it is currently evaluating the mobile payments service.

Now, over a week after Samsung Pay was launched in the country, the gigantic red carrier has announced that it will support the service. However, there was no word on exactly when the support would roll out, although the company did say that it will be made available through a "future software update."
As for the compatible smartphones, Verizon assumed Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, Note5, and S6 edge+ on its network will acquire the aforementioned update whenever it is rolled out.
