Miami-based smartphone manufacturer BLU has launched two recent budget-friendly smartphones: the Studio Energy 2 and Energy X. Both are now available for purchase on Amazon - while the former carries a price tag of $179.00, the latter will set you back $109.00.
Specs-wise, the Studio Energy 2 (shown above) - which is the successor to the Studio Energy smartphone launched earlier this year - is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 chipset with quad-core 1.3 Giga Hertz (GHz) Cortex-A53 Central Processing Units (CPU) and Mali-T720 GPU, and sports a 5.0-inch 720p Super AMOrganic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) display.
The handset comes with 1.5GB Random-Access Memory (RAM) and 16GB expandable internal memory, and packs in a huge 5000 mAh battery. In terms of camera, the Studio Energy 2 features an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. Measuring 144 x 71.2 x 10.1 mm and weighing in at 176 gms, it runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, and is available in Midnight Grey and Ceramic White with Rose Grecent color options.
On the other hand, the Energy X is powered by a MediaTek 6580 SoC with quad-core 1.3 Giga Hertz (GHz) Cortex-A7 processor, and sports a 5.0-inch 720p IPersonal Computer (PC) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) display. It comes with 1GB Random-Access Memory (RAM) and 8GB expandable internal memory, and packs in a gigantic 4000 mAh battery.
In terms of camera, the Energy X features and 8MP rear unit and a 2MP front shooter. Measuring 142 x 70 x 8.9 mm and weighing in at 154 gms, it, however, runs Android version 5.1, and is available in Midnight Grey and Luxury Grecent color options.
