The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Province 50, Ajuwon-Akute, Ogun State, has called on the Federal Government to let the fear of God reflect in the initiation and implementation of its policies.

The church made the call recently during the launch of its LP 50 magazine at its auditorium.

The Pastor in Charge of the RCCG’s Region 2, Pastor J.O Obayemi, who unveiled the magazine, asked the government and Nigerians to always remember that good things could not be achieved without the involvement of God.

Obayemi, who spoke on “The All Sufficient God,” told the government and Nigerians that God had more than enough to give and as such, they should always depend on the Him for guidance because He could not be limited by distance or any situation.

While speaking on why the magazine was launched, the Pastor in Charge the RCCG Province 50, Reuben Ayoade, noted that the idea was conceived to serve as a channel of effective communication with all the members of the church and the general public.

Ayoade said, “Church magazine play an important role in reaching out not to the existing congregations, but also to people who live in the community around the church but who for, whatever reason, do not come to church.

“The magazine is meant to provide accurate factual information; remind readers of forthcoming activities and events; communicate a Christian message; educate and entertain readers as well as provide a service to the church and local community.

“It can also act as a bridge of friendship to visitors and inactive church members. We also intend to use them to help missionaries and other members to keep in touch with friends back home.”

He, however, said the magazine was not meant to replace personal visits to members, but to be used to promote unity in the body of Christ.
