While we already know that Huawei's next top of the line chipset - alleged to be the Kirin 950 - is all set to be unveiled on November 5, there has been no information on when the Mate 8 smartphone, which is assumed to be powered by the chipset, would arrive.

However, that was until now, as a recent teaser (see image above) from Huawei is clearly indicating that the handset would be unveiled on November 26. This is also broadly inline with earlier reports recommending the device would be made official towards the discontinue of the year.

As for the specs, from what we know so far, the Mate 8 will sport a 6.0 inch 1440p display, and come with 3GB/4GB Random-Access Memory (RAM) and 32GB/64GB internal memory options. In terms of camera, it will feature a 13MP rear unit and an 8MP front shooter, and its SIM card tray is assumed to support two SIM cards and a microSD card.

The high-discontinue device is assumed to carry a CNY 3,299 ($520) price tag for the 3GB Random-Access Memory (RAM) variant and CNY 3,899 ($610) for the 4GB one.
