Rumors of HTC developing a smartwatch have been there since late 2013, but the company is yet to launch a device in that category. While at one point we were led to believe that the Taiwanese company has given up on the idea, a couple of rumors that have since followed have recommended otherwise.
Thankfully, the usually reliable leakster @evleaks has now shared some useful information on the matter.

As you can see in his tweet above, @evleaks has effectively confirmed that the Taiwanese company is indeed working on a smartwatch, saying that it will be launched in February next year (at MWC may be?). He also revealed the name of the wearable device: One.
If you aren't in the know, a recent rumor had recommended that the device is codenamed Halfbeak. The rumor also revealed that the Android Wear smartwatch would sport a round 360x360px display.
