New Windows 10 Mobile Build Rolling Out To Lumia 950/950 XL And 550

Microsoft has started rolling out the February cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile to non-Windows Insiders. The update, which bumps the device to to 10586.107, is currently hitting Lumia 950, 950 XL, and 550.

The update brings along improvements related to reliability, stability, Bluetooth connectivity, battery usage, update system, as well as Microsoft Edge's Portable Document Format (PDF) rendering and navigation. It also includes fixes for several issues, including:

  • Fix for a problem causing erroneous low storage prompts for some users when trying to download phone software updates.
  • Fix for a problem that caused erroneous prompts of Outsee account settings being out-of-date for some users, although account settings had not been changed.
  • Fix for a problem that caused some phones to acquire stuck on BitLocker Recovery classy screen after a reset.

If you haven't received the OTA notification yet, you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings -> Update & security -> Phone update -> Check for updates on your handset.
