Jolla Announces Jolla C And A New Sailfish Community Device Program

Jolla, a young Finnish company founded by ex-Nokia and MeeGo employees, has launched its second smartphone, the Jolla C.

The phone is part of the recent Sailfish Community Device Program meant for developers, who will acquire access to exclusive live community sessions, invitations to community events, and the phone itself.

The phone will come with a stock version of Sailfish Operating System (OS) 2.0 with no third-party applications installed. On the hardware side you acquire a 5.0-inch 720p IPS LCD, quad-core 1.3Giga Hertz (GHz) Snapdragon 212, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage with microSD support, 8 megapixel rear/2 megapixel front cameras, and 2500mAh battery.

Only 1000 of these devices will be made for the program members.
