The Spectre from HP, which is claimed to be the thinnest laptop in the world, has been launched in India. The laptop - which was first showcased at the New York Times International Luxury Conference back in April this year - carries an INR 1,19,900 (around 1,775) price tag in the country, and will go on sale starting June 25.

The device features a 13.3-inch full HD display, is razor-thin at 10.4mm, and weighs in at just 1.1 kg. It's powered by Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, with up to 512GB of flash storage, while Random-Access Memory (RAM) is capped at 8GB.

"Hewlett Packard (HP) as India’s technology leader aims to create life better, productive and more fun," assumed Rajiv Srivastava, Managing Director, Hewlett Packard (HP) India. "We are at the forefront of delivering industry-leading innovation and HP’s Spectre 13 is a beautifully crafted Notebook and a reflection of what many millennials aspire to be — exceptional, cool, dazzling, standing out from the crowd, but making an impact."
