BLU Energy XL Launched With 6-inch Display, 5,000mAh Battery

Miami-based smartphone manufacturer BLU has launched a recent smartphone. Dubbed Energy XL, the device is powered by MediaTek 6753 chipset with octa-core 1.3Giga Hertz (GHz) Central Processing Units (CPU) and Mali-T720 GPU, and sports a 6-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The handset comes with 3GB Random-Access Memory (RAM) and 64GB internal memory, and packs in a mammoth 5,000mAh battery. In terms of camera, the phone features a 13MP/5MP combo. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, but will be updated to Marshmallow before the year ends. The device features a fingerprint sensor as well.

Color options include Solid Grecent and White-Silver. As for price, the Energy XL carries a tag of $299.99. Measuring 160.9 x 81.2 x 8.4mm and weighing in at 208g, the device is only compatible with Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) carriers in the US, and is currently available for purchase from Amazon.
