OnePlus began rolling out the Oxygen Operating System (OS) 3.2 update for the OnePlus 3 three days ago, but halted the recent firmware just a day later. The awaited update was supposed to bring sRGB display mode, better Random-Access Memory (RAM) management, among other fixes, but was pulled out due to undisclosed issues.

Lots of people got the 3.2 update though and managed to update safely, but there were some with problems while upgrading.

Anyway, OnePlus is now seeding the Oxygen 3.2.1 update, which in addition to the 3.2 features, comes with a few more fixes. If you got the 3.2 update on your OnePlus 3, then this OTA update weighs just 15Mega Bytes (MB) for you and fixes some notification problems and a possible SIM recognition problem. It seems the update also turn the sRGB mode on by default.

If you weren't among those to update to 3.2 firmware a few days ago, then this recent OTA file will be a lot heftier at about 300MB. It will improve the Random-Access Memory (RAM) management, bring the more accurate sRGB mode for the display, improve the GPS performance, the capturing camera quality, among other things. Here are some of the most vital fixes from the change log:

  • Fixed some notification issues
  • Addressed SIM recognition issue
  • Enabled sRGB mode in developer options
  • Improved Random-Access Memory (RAM) management
  • Improved GPS performance
  • Enhanced audio playback quality
  • Updated custom icon packs
  • Improved capturing camera quality/functionality
  • Fixed some problems in Gallery
  • Implemented latest Google security patches
  • Fixed bugs in Clock/Music apps

If you own a OnePlus 3, you should be getting this update any moment now, if not already.
